Great tree, sing me a song

Great tree, sing me a song

lullaby me with your rustled leaves

so mysterious, so pure

a shimering delight I behold

bright leaves dancing in the bright truth of day

I sit entranced to your every move

a slave to your every sound

be ever with me, in mind and spirit

remembering your tune, reciting your song

ever more . . .

great tree, sing me a song
